After attending my 6th rally this year, I thought it was time to document.
I have just got back from Bridlington which took place during the Halloween weekend, and was most probably the best so far. With the matchless combinations of northern soul, laying down game, scooters, poppies, northern pubs, windy seaside, mice in bathrooms, northern humour, fake blood, ska, bangers and mash, cover bands, train spotters, Devil'd dog, indie, Lamp chops, halloween outfits; a whole new experience.
I can not wait for warmwell in 3 weeks.
To sum up the weekend......
After all of that, on the way home my mum decided to faint at the steering wheel. In complete total shock and feeling a little hysterical I some how managed to steer the car whilst hitting the break pedal with my hand. rushing to get her to the nearest building for help I drive into a ditch, and then out into a caravan coming the opposite way. Cut a long story short, we had to stay another night and take her to a hospital. The weekend went down hill from there and the night at the travel lodge turned into one of those cheesy American horror films where eveyone knows whats going to happen next. People were getting lost one by one, hand prints appearing on walls and relevant programmes being on the tele. Just to scare us all the more, I passed this on the way home the next day!
It bought me back down to reality and realise I was lucky to be alive.
(Mum is also fine)
