Northern Soul

I have a growing love and passion for music and dance, all because of Northern Soul. People that know me well will understand my enthusiasm for this topic, and that I'm not just grabbing into the new, next best thing.

Growing up I have always been bought up around and encouraged to listen to 'real music'. From Brit pop to Ska, reggae and Northern soul I am still educating myself in what I recognise as real music. I know that these types of music are slowly becoming the mainstream, but it would be nice to see people like me, whom are actually involved within it.

I am currently teaching myself how to dance to Northern soul. My mum and weekends away on rallies being my biggest inspiration for this interest, I am hoping to have perfected it by next summer and the weekly rallies I should be attending.
